Tube Furnace (Quartz Tube) Overview
The GSL-1100X-50-LVT high temperature tubular furnace is built for laboratories that need more than a basic tube furnace. In many material experiments, the displayed furnace temperature is not exactly the same as the real sample temperature inside the tube. This model solves that problem by allowing a K-type thermocouple to be inserted from the left flange into the furnace tube and read through an OMEGA temperature meter, helping researchers monitor the actual sample environment during heating.
The high temperature tubular furnace is suitable for vacuum or controlled-atmosphere processing, including sintering, annealing, calcination, catalyst preparation, battery material research, ceramic testing, powder heat treatment and small CVD-related experiments. With a split and position-adjustable furnace body, it can support horizontal, vertical or angled working positions according to the experimental setup.
Why This Lab Tube Furnace Is Useful for Research Labs

Temperature Calibration System Of Split Tube Furnace
The key advantage of this model is the sample-side temperature calibration design. A K-type thermocouple can be installed through the left flange and positioned inside the furnace tube, while the OMEGA temperature meter reads the real-time sample temperature. This is valuable for experiments where reaction temperature, dwell time and sample reproducibility are critical.

Flexible Furnace Body Structure
The furnace chamber uses high-purity alumina fiber material to reduce heat loss. The stainless-steel outer shell is height-adjustable, and the rear adjustment knobs allow the vertical position to be changed from the control box platform to the lower end of the furnace chamber. The unit can be used in multiple positions and may be configured for different heat treatment requirements.

Quartz Tube, Flanges and Vacuum Connections
The standard quartz tube size is Φ50 × 600 mm. Alumina tube plugs are included to reduce heat radiation from the internal tube and must be fully inserted into the furnace chamber before heating. Optional quartz tube plugs can be selected to improve internal cleanliness and vacuum performance.
Two stainless-steel flange options are available. The default 2-inch flange includes a 1/4-inch barbed fitting, a 1/4-inch thermocouple access port and a KF25 vacuum interface. A 1-inch flange without thermocouple plug is also available. Optional vacuum accessories include a baffle valve, stainless-steel bellows, quick connection flange, digital vacuum gauge and mechanical pump system.

Vacuum and Safety Notes
During furnace heating, the vacuum should not be higher than 1E-2 Torr, otherwise the quartz tube may be damaged. The pressure inside the quartz tube must not exceed 0.02 MPa relative pressure. When introducing gas from a cylinder, a pressure reducing valve must be installed, and pressure below 0.02 MPa is recommended.
The original specification also notes that corrosive gases and acidic gases are outside the warranty coverage. Flammable, explosive and toxic gases are not recommended. If a special process requires them, users must provide appropriate safety, protection and explosion-proof measures.
