Introduction of high temperature tube furnace:

The GSL-1500X is a compact vacuum tube furnace. It features 30 programmable temperature ramps and is equipped with burnout and overheating protection. Its temperature control accuracy is as high as ±1°C, and its maximum temperature reaches 1500°C. This vacuum tube furnace is particularly suitable for annealing and sintering samples in a protective atmosphere or vacuum environment.

Technical parameters of Laboratory tube furnace:

Product Name1500°C Mini Vacuum Tube Furnace (with vacuum flange, suitable for 2- or 3-inch corundum tubes) GSL-1500X

Structure of vacuum tube furnace

· Double-shell construction with air cooling system.

· Furnace chamber constructed of high-purity polycrystalline alumina fiber with an alumina coating to minimize energy loss.

· Door-opening power-off function enhances experimental safety.

Furnace Tube

· Material: Corundum tube.

· Dimensions: Ø50mm outer diameter * Ø40mm inner diameter * 700mm length.

· To prevent heat loss through radiation, a pipe plug must be placed inside the furnace tube before heating (pipe plugs are standard).

Vacuum Seal

· Two sets of stainless steel sealing flanges are standard with the furnace tube.

· A mechanical pressure gauge with a range of -0.1-0.15 MPa is installed on the inlet flange to monitor the pressure inside the furnace tube. A Ø6.35mm compression fitting serves as the air inlet, with air flow controlled by a stainless steel needle valve.

· The outlet flange includes an outlet port for an Ø8mm pagoda nozzle, with air flow controlled by a stainless steel needle valve. To evacuate the furnace tube, connect the outlet port to a vacuum pump via a vacuum rubber hose.

· To achieve a high vacuum level more quickly, we recommend using a KF25 vacuum flange, stainless steel bellows, and a digital vacuum indicator.

Vacuum System of laboratory tube furnace (Optional)

· Model: VRD-8

· Pumping Rate: 2.2 L/s

· Motor Power: 370 W

· Ultimate Pressure: 5 × 10-1 Pa (without load)

· Actual Pressure: ≤ 2 Pa (with furnace tube and sealing flange installed, mechanical pumping for 20 minutes under cold conditions)

· For higher vacuum levels (10-5 tor or better), domestic or imported high vacuum units are available.

Temperature Control System of laboratory tube furnace

· Includes a YD518P temperature controller;

· PID automatic temperature control system;

· Intelligent 30-step programmable control;

· Built-in overheat protection and thermocouple fault alarm;

· Temperature Control Accuracy: ±1°C;

· Default DB9 PC Communication Port;

· MET Certified;

· Optional PC Temperature Control Software (for the YD518P series controller) for controlling temperature curves and exporting data.

Questions

Special Notes of high temperature tube furnace:

1. Consumables such as heating elements, quartz tubes, and sample crucibles are not included.

2. Damage caused by the use of corrosive and acidic gases is not covered by the warranty.

The pressure inside the furnace tube must not exceed 0.02MPa (relative pressure).

Because the internal pressure of the gas cylinder is high, a pressure reducing valve must be installed on the cylinder when introducing gas into the quartz tube. To ensure safety, it is recommended to use a pressure below 0.02MPa. We recommend purchasing a pressure reducing valve from our company. Our pressure reducing valve has a range of 0.01MPa-0.1MPa, which provides greater accuracy and safety.

For dry sample heating experiments, it is not recommended to close the exhaust and inlet valves on the furnace tube flange. If the gas valve needs to be closed to heat the sample, always monitor the pressure gauge. If the pressure reading is greater than 0.02 MPa, immediately open the vent valve to prevent accidents (such as furnace tube rupture, flange flying, etc.).

We do not recommend the use of flammable, explosive, or toxic gases. If the customer's process requires the use of flammable, explosive, or toxic gases, please implement appropriate protective and explosion-proof measures. We are not responsible for any problems caused by the use of flammable, explosive, or toxic gases.

The gas flow rate should be less than 200 sccm (200 ml/min).

Due to the manufacturing process of the alumina tube, there is a risk of tube breakage during the sintering process. This cannot be completely avoided. Please be aware of this.

ComplianceCE Certified, UL or CSA certification is available at extra cost.

Installation precautions of Laboratory tube furnace:

1. Do not place the laboratory tube furnace on an uneven or vibrating surface, as this may cause the furnace to become unstable and topple.

2. Do not place flammable or explosive items near the laboratory tube furnace, as this may cause an explosion.

3. Do not drop metal objects such as screws and washers into the laboratory tube furnace, as this may cause a short circuit or fire.

4. Do not place the laboratory tube furnace where it may be easily splashed with water. If water enters the laboratory tube furnace, it may cause a fire or electric shock.
