Product Introduction:

The Velvet Polishing Cloth for Metallography is primarily designed for use with our UNIPOL series grinding and polishing machines for polishing samples. It can be prepared in circular shapes of different diameters depending on the model of the grinding and polishing machine. The back of the polishing pad has self-adhesive backing, which is resistant to water, oil, alcohol, and other organic substances, allowing it to be directly attached to the grinding and polishing film for use.


The working layer of the Metallographic Specimen Polishing Cloth is made of flexible gold-fiber velvet cloth, which will not damage the sample surface. The velvet cloth has good moisture absorption, can hold an appropriate amount of polishing fluid, ensuring a smooth polishing process and saving polishing fluid usage.


The Napped Polishing Cloth is particularly suitable for polishing samples such as hard metals, hard alloys, carbon composites, and metallographic sections.
