After each use, wipe down the dies and all parts of the machine body using a clean cloth dampened with alcohol. If the machine will not be used the following day, apply a layer of anti-rust oil.

When adjusting the fit between the upper punch core and the lower die cavity, ensure that the punch core enters the lower die cavity without obstruction and moves in and out smoothly.

Take care to protect the cutting surfaces of both the upper punch core and the lower die cavity.
