It can perform slicing, sectioning, and shaping of materials, and its rotary turntable allows cutting at specific angles. The machine can cut a wide range of materials, including ceramics, crystals, glass, metals, rocks, thermoelectric materials, infrared optical materials, composites, and biomedical materials.
This diamond wire saw supports continuous cutting: once the cutting program is set, samples are fed automatically without manual adjustment, ensuring high dimensional accuracy of the cut specimens. The cutting wire operates in a single-wire reciprocating motion mode, allowing long usable wire length and extended service life per installation, which improves cutting efficiency.
The tensioning wheel uses a pneumatic tensioning system, with air pressure adjustable according to the wire diameter. For very fine wires, this effectively prevents breakage due to excessive tension. When used in combination with an electric rotary stage, the machine can perform precision cutting with excellent surface quality. For ultra-thin precision cutting, the thickness of slices within approximately 1 inch can reach 0.08 mm.
