From November 7th to 9th, 2025, the 5th Youth Academic Conference on Artificial Crystal Materials was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The conference, themed "Frontier Exploration and Innovative Applications," focused on basic research, key technological breakthroughs, and industrial applications of artificial crystal materials. It attracted over 500 young scholars and experts from more than 100 universities and research institutes across China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Shandong University, as well as leading enterprises in the industry, to gather together and jointly outline a new blueprint for the future development of artificial crystal materials.
On October 22, 2025, more than 30 teachers and students majoring in applied physics from the School of Science of Shenyang University of Technology, with curiosity and desire to explore the scientific research equipment industry, walked into Shenyang Kejing Auto-instrument Co., Ltd. and started a one-day production internship research activity.
From October 9th to 12th, 2025, the 2025 China Biomaterials Conference and Exhibition of New Technologies, Products, and Instruments (CSBM 2025) concluded successfully at the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhejiang Province. The conference brought together over 3,000 experts, scholars, physicians, and entrepreneurs from domestic and international research institutions, medical institutions, businesses, and regulatory agencies to discuss cutting-edge technologies, innovative products, and future development directions in the fields of biomaterials and medical devices.
The 26th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE 2025), a three-day event, successfully concluded on September 12th! The "4th National Refractory Metals and Hard Alloys Technology Symposium" was successfully held in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province from August 15-17, 2025. The conference, jointly organized by several research institutions and universities, focused on various refractory metals and hard alloys, including tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, and niobium. The discussions covered their applications in high-temperature alloy steel, hard alloys, semiconductors, magnetic materials, and other fields, with a focus on key technologies such as grain refinement and new material development. With the core objective of "strengthening information exchange and addressing industry hotspots and challenges," the conference aimed to promote technological progress, help solve current industry issues, and facilitate high-quality development and industry-academia collaboration.
From August 13th to 15th, the "15th Symposium on Inorganic Nonmetallic Materials and the Forum for Outstanding Scholars in Inorganic Nonmetallic Materials," hosted by the Chinese Ceramic Society, was successfully held in Harbin. Guests from the Chinese Ceramic Society and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as over 1400 experts and scholars, including several academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the conference.
From August 3rd to 8th, the 21st International Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy (ICCGE-21) was held in Xi'an. The conference was jointly organized by the International Organization for Crystal Growth and the Chinese Ceramic Society, and hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University. It attracted over 500 scholars from more than 30 countries, including Japan, Russia, the United States, Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland, with over 150 international scholars in attendance.
From July 29th to 31st, the "15th Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Nonferrous Metals," hosted by the Chinese Society for Nonferrous Metals and organized by the Henan Academy of Sciences, with co-sponsorship from China Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, Mining and Metallurgy Technology Group, Northwest Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, and the Materials Research Institute of the Henan Academy of Sciences, as well as strong support from numerous enterprises, was successfully held in Zhengzhou.
The "China Materials Conference 2025" was successfully held and concluded at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Fujian Province from July 5-8, 2025. The conference covered five major themes: energy materials, environmental materials, advanced structural materials, functional materials, and materials design, preparation, and evaluation. It also featured a number of special forums, including a youth forum, a special new materials forum, a materials education forum, and a materials journal forum. In addition, an international exhibition of new materials research instruments and equipment was held concurrently. According to official conference statistics, the conference attracted nearly 30,000 participants, with experts and entrepreneurs accounting for 61% and young doctoral students for 39%. Online participation reached over 3.5 million. Academicians and experts in the field of new materials in China were all present, and chief executives from more than 700 large enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and listed companies attended the conference, jointly witnessing the cutting-edge dynamics and development trends of materials science.
