Shenyang Kejing·Guangzhou Youth Geoscience Forum

The 11th Youth Geoscience Forum was successfully held in Guangzhou from April 10th to 13th, 2026.

"The Youth Geoscience Forum is a platform initiated by young Chinese geoscientists, with outstanding scientists as advisors and young scholars and graduate students as the main participants, encouraging free and equal exchange and discussion."

This year's forum was hosted by the Youth Geoscience Forum Council and jointly organized by the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry"), the South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Sun Yat-sen University. The forum attracted more than 6,800 representatives from numerous universities and research institutes across the country in the field of geoscience.

Plasma Cleaning and Magnetron Sputtering Coating Machine: Provides excellent surface treatment and conductive layer coating (such as gold/carbon sputtering) solutions for high-precision testing such as electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

To allow participating researchers to intuitively experience the actual sample preparation capabilities of the equipment, we conducted a demonstration. By combining a real-world application scenario of geological samples, we performed a precision cutting demonstration, showcasing the equipment's stability and efficiency when handling high-hardness ores. The technical team used a smart screen to provide in-depth technical explanations and 3D model demonstrations for the sample preparation needs of different types of minerals, offering customized process suggestions to the audience.
