Introduction of the auto lapping and polishing machine:
The UNIPOL-1260D Double-Plate Pressure Grinding and Polishing Machine adopts a mechanical pressurization method, allowing the sample to be subjected to constant pressure during the grinding process. The machine is equipped with two sets of pressure grinding plates that can move horizontally, and the rotation speed is stable and adjustable. With a wide pneumatic pressure range, it is particularly suitable for grinding, thinning, and polishing sheet-type superhard materials.
Main Features
· The sample is fixed on a dedicated sample holder, which can be easily installed using a quick-change chuck. An elastic coupling is incorporated in the holder base to prevent impact damage when the sample first contacts the grinding/polishing plate.
· When the sample comes into contact with the grinding/polishing plate, the pneumatic cylinder arm begins to apply pressure. The pressure can be preset and, due to stepless adjustment, can also be adjusted at any time during operation. The maximum pressure can reach up to 0.48 MPa.
· The rotation speeds of both the grinding/polishing plate and the sample holder can be steplessly adjusted within a certain range, allowing for both presetting and real-time adjustment.
· The grinding and polishing time can be freely set within a range of 0–24 hours, enabling automatic operation and auto stop for unattended processing.
· Core components are precision-machined from stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and preventing rust.
