Introduction of Lab Arc Melt Furnace:

SP-AM-400 4 Heads Vacuum Arc Melting System is suitable for temperature 25℃±15℃, humidity 55%Rh±10%Rh environment, and needs to be equipped with a self-circulating cooling system of pure water or deionized water, AC380V power supply and argon gas supply. The main parameters include ultimate vacuum 8×10-4 Pa, power less than 60kw, working pressure -0.5MPa, system vacuum leak rate 5.0×10-7 Pa.l/S, etc. The Lab Arc Melt Furnace equipment has multiple safety protection functions and includes components such as molecular pump group, rotary melting crucible, argon arc welding machine, etc. The Lab Arc Melt Furnace is suitable for specific process requirements.

Installation conditions

This Lab Arc Melt Furnace is required to be used in an environment with a temperature of 25℃±15℃ and a humidity of 55%RH±10%RH.

1. Water source: The equipment is equipped with a self-circulating cooling water machine, and deionized water or automotive antifreeze must be added when in use.

2. Power supply: AC380V 50Hz three-phase power supply, which must be well grounded.

3. Gas source: High-purity argon (≥99.99%) must be filled into the vacuum chamber of the equipment. Users must prepare argon gas cylinders (with Ø6mm double ferrule connectors) and pressure reducing valves.

4. Workbench: The equipment is a floor-standing structure, and the installation area is recommended to be no less than 2.5m×1m.

5. Ventilation: Good ventilation devices must be provided to ensure safe operation.

Operation steps

1. Filling and preparation:

· After completing the material filling, turn on the main power switch of the equipment.

· According to the process requirements, adjust the crucible speed to the range of 1 to 20 rpm.

2. Vacuuming process:

· Start the Pufa HICube80 molecular pump system and start vacuuming.

· After the chamber vacuum reaches 10-3Pa, close the manual baffle valve.

· Open the manual valve and fill the protective inert gas (argon) to -0.03 MPa.

3. Argon arc melting:

· Turn on the argon arc welding power supply and set the appropriate current.

· Press the two "arc start" buttons at the same time to start the argon arc melting operation.
