What is Vacuum Tube Furnace, Do You know?

2025-07-10 10:07

Vacuum tube furnace is a new type of heat treatment equipment that is upgraded by integrating a vacuum system on the basis of the original tube furnace structure. It not only retains the advantages of the original heating and temperature control process flexibility of the tubular furnace, but also realizes the high cleanliness control of the treatment cavity through the introduction of a vacuum system. Vacuum tube furnace adopts a double-layer shell structure and an intelligent temperature control system. The furnace material is made of high-purity polycrystalline alumina fiber material, and the double-layer furnace shell is equipped with an air-cooling system, which can be vacuumed through the atmosphere. The vacuum furnace is suitable for heating some materials with high precision and high quality requirements. Since the vacuum furnace can better protect the surface of the material and reduce the influence of gas, the forming accuracy and life of the product can be improved.

How vacuum tube furnace works:

The process chamber of vacuum tube furnace is tightly sealed by a tube body made of high temperature resistant material. Heating elements are usually installed around the pipe body, which can quickly heat up after being energized to transfer heat to the pipe. In order to form a vacuum environment in the process chamber, a vacuum pump needs to be connected to exclude the air in the tube. During operation, only the hose needs to be connected to the air inlet of the vacuum pump, and the air outlet is connected to the vacuum flange on the pipe. Starting the vacuum pump again, the gas in the tube can be continuously discharged, allowing the process chamber to quickly form a vacuum environment. After the required degree of vacuum is reached, the material that needs to be heated can be placed in the process room. The internal vacuum environment can not only effectively isolate the source of pollution, but also realize precise control of the process conditions and ensure the quality of material handling.

How to choose the right vacuum tube furnace

1. Determine the experimental requirements: before choosing vacuum tube furnace, determine the specific requirements of the experiment. Including the temperature range required for the experiment, heating speed, insulation time, atmosphere type and sample size. Determining these experimental requirements is of great help in choosing a suitable tube furnace

2. Pay attention to the performance of tube furnace: the temperature control, vacuum sealing, atmosphere control function of tube furnace, and the material and structure of the heating element are very important for the accuracy, stability and experimental efficiency of the experimental results. Therefore, when choosing a tube furnace, special attention should be paid to the performance of the tube furnace.

3. Consider the service life of tube furnace: in order to ensure long-term stable operation, the service life of tube furnace is very important. When choosing, you should choose a durable, stable and accurate tube furnace.
