Precautions for Using a Box Furnace
2025-09-13 15:03High-Temperature Box Furnace Installation Notes:
1. Do not place the unit on an uneven or vibrating surface, as this may cause the unit to become unstable and tip over.
2. Do not place flammable or explosive items near the furnace, as this may cause an explosion.
3. Do not drop metal objects such as screws and washers into the unit, as this may cause a short circuit or fire.
4. Do not place the unit in a location susceptible to water splashing. If water enters the unit, it may cause a fire or electric shock.
5. The unit should be installed in an environment free of conductive dust, gases, or vapors that could damage insulation.
6. The unit should be installed in an area with good air circulation, free from vibration, impact, and high dust levels.
Wiring:
1. Wiring work must be performed by qualified personnel, as this may result in electric shock.
2. Ensure that the input power is completely disconnected before performing wiring work, as this may result in electric shock.
3. The power supply to the unit must be reliably grounded, as this may result in electric shock. 4. Do not drop metal objects such as screws and washers into the equipment, as this may cause a short circuit or fire.
5. The equipment power supply must be connected to the corresponding air switch.
Usage:
1. Install spacers and door plugs before use to prevent damage to the furnace chamber and door.
2. The heating rate from 1400°C to 1600°C should not exceed 5°C/min. Above 1600°C, the heating rate should not exceed 2°C/min. Otherwise, the furnace chamber and heating elements may be damaged.
3. When cooling down, use programmed cooling. Set the cooling program. Directly using the "Stop" function is not recommended. For high-temperature furnaces with an 1800°C temperature, the cooling rate should not exceed 5°C/min due to the internal zirconium oxide coating, as this may damage the furnace chamber. Do not turn off the power supply when the equipment temperature is above 500°C to prevent safety issues.
4. After the equipment reaches one year of use, tighten all wiring terminals within the equipment. Note: Always turn off the power before tightening.
Maintenance:
1. Always turn off the power before repairing or inspecting.
2. If the product is damaged, please have it inspected and repaired. Continued use of a damaged product may cause fire or electric shock.
3. Parts must be replaced by qualified personnel only. Do not leave loose wires or other metal objects inside the device; otherwise, there is a risk of explosion or fire.
After replacing instruments or circuit boards, parameter adjustments and matching must be performed before operation. Failure to do so may result in property damage.
