Shenyang Kejing Participates in the 7th National Youth Geological Congress (April 25-29, Shenyang, Liaoning)
2025-05-02 13:44On April 26th, the 7th National Youth Geological Congress grandly opened in Shenyang, Liaoning. The congress, themed "Earth Science Facing the Future," aimed to gather the wisdom and strength of young geologists to promote scientific and technological innovation and serve national energy resource security and ecological civilization construction.
This congress was unprecedented in scale, with several academicians giving keynote speeches. The congress featured 45 thematic sessions, focusing on both cutting-edge fields of earth science and reflecting the characteristics of the Northeast region, such as a new round of breakthroughs in mineral exploration, deep resource development, black soil evolution and ecological effects, and mineral carbon sequestration technology under the context of carbon neutrality. The congress organized diverse activities including thematic forums, achievement exhibitions, and field trips, inviting young geologists from across the country to participate, using innovative thinking to solve challenging problems in earth system science, and contributing their wisdom and strength to building a strong socialist modern country. Participating young geologists expressed that this grand event further broadened their academic horizons and hoped to internalize the insights shared by scholars into motivation for their research, contributing to the development of science and technology.
The National Youth Geological Congress, one of the high-profile academic events in the field of earth science, was initiated by the Youth Working Committee of the Geological Society of China in 2012 and has become a major platform for young geoscientists in the industry to exchange academic achievements. The holding of this congress in Shenyang broke the situation of the Northeast region not having hosted a large-scale national geoscience academic conference for nearly ten years. More than a thousand experts, scholars, and young talents from universities, research institutes, geological survey units, and enterprises gathered in Shenyang to showcase their talents.

At the exhibition, the Shenyang Kejing booth was extremely popular, with a continuous stream of visitors. The exhibited products, including the SYJ-40 rapid cutting machine, STX-202A small diamond wire cutting machine, UNIPOL-1202 automatic precision grinding and polishing machine, SFM-8 agate mortar grinding machine, and complete geological thin section preparation solutions, attracted experts and scholars from the industry to visit and exchange ideas.
