​Shenyang Kejing Participates in the 6th Youth Planetary Forum (March 25-30, Huangshan, Anhui)

From March 25-28, 2025, the 6th Youth Planetary Forum grandly opened in Tunxi, Anhui. This forum was organized by the Youth Planetary Forum Council and the China University Planetary Science Alliance, and hosted by the School of Earth and Space Sciences of the University of Science and Technology of China. It featured sixteen themes (including five special projects) and attracted numerous young scholars and enterprise representatives from both China and abroad.

The "Youth Planetary Forum" was initiated by young research scholars in the field of planetary science, with renowned planetary scientists from China and abroad as advisors, excellent young scientists as the core, and young scholars and students as the main participants. It is a regular and organized platform for exchange and cooperation. Since its founding in 2016, it has been hosted by the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Qinghai Institute of Salt Lakes, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shandong University, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, attracting the participation of numerous young scholars and graduate students from China and abroad. With the successful completion of major exploration missions such as my country's Tianwen-1 reaching Mars, the Zhurong rover landing on Mars, and the Chang'e program returning lunar soil, my country's planetary science exploration and research have entered a new era of vigorous development. To provide a larger platform for exchange and cooperation for young researchers in the frontier exploration of planetary science, young researchers organized and established the Youth Planetary Forum Council in 2021, responsible for the organization and management of the Youth Planetary Forum.

As is well known, meteorites have complex internal structures, mainly composed of minerals such as iron, nickel, and silicates. They are hard and magnetic, so it is necessary to choose an appropriate decomposition method to avoid damaging their internal structure and preserve their value. Shenyang Kejing's self-produced diamond wire cutting machine series offers a maximum cutting diameter of 1m, a cutting wire diameter (cutting gap) of 0.08mm-0.42mm, and a minimum cutting thickness of 0.1mm.  It is equipped with a three-dimensional turntable and rotating and oscillating fixtures, enabling planar cutting at different angles. Compared to circular saw blade cutting, wire cutting generates very little heat, preserving the internal structure of the material, and producing no dust or noise, achieving truly flexible cutting that is safe and precise.  Fully automatic programming control allows for unattended operation.
