Shenyang Kejing Participates in the 22nd China High-Pressure Science Academic Conference (June 6-9, Ningbo, Zhejiang)

On June 7th, the 22nd China High-Pressure Science Academic Conference opened in Ningbo.  The conference was hosted by the High-Pressure Physics Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society and organized by the School of Physical Science and Technology and the High-Pressure Physics Research Institute of Ningbo University. More than a thousand experts and scholars from nearly 200 well-known universities and research institutions in China, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, and Jilin University, participated in the conference. The conference was chaired by Professor Cui Tian, Dean of the High-Pressure Physics Research Institute of Ningbo University.

This year's China High-Pressure Science Academic Conference featured nine thematic sub-sessions: Material Structure and Properties under High Pressure, Synthesis and Physical Properties of New Materials under High Pressure, Superconducting Materials and Strongly Correlated Systems under High Pressure, High-Pressure Theory and Calculation, High-Pressure Experimental Techniques, High-Pressure Chemistry, Superhard Materials and Applications, High-Pressure Earth and Planetary Science, and Shock Waves and Detonation Physics. Participating experts and scholars conducted extensive and in-depth discussions and exchanges on these nine themes.  The conference also included special sessions for outstanding young scholars in high-pressure science and a competition for outstanding young researchers' papers, encouraging young scholars to innovate in the field of high-pressure science.

The China High-Pressure Science Academic Conference is a national academic conference held every two years.  Its content covers high-pressure experimental techniques, material structure under high pressure, high-pressure theory and numerical calculation, synthesis and physical properties of new high-pressure materials, high-pressure mineral physics, high-pressure chemistry, and other fields.
