Shenyang Kejing Participates in the 21st ICCGE-21

From August 3rd to 8th, the 21st International Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy (ICCGE-21) was held in Xi'an. The conference was jointly organized by the International Organization for Crystal Growth and the Chinese Ceramic Society, and hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University. It attracted over 500 scholars from more than 30 countries, including Japan, Russia, the United States, Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland, with over 150 international scholars in attendance.

The conference featured 17 parallel sessions, with 139 invited presentations, 251 oral presentations, and 144 poster presentations. The innovative research results shared by numerous outstanding scholars greatly broadened the academic horizons of the participants. This conference fully demonstrated my country's scientific research strength and outstanding contributions in the field of crystal growth, highlighting its increasing influence and voice. The university will take this conference as an opportunity to continuously promote in-depth cooperation with experts and scholars from various countries, collaboratively innovate international exchange paradigms, and jointly cultivate new achievements in the field of crystal growth and epitaxy.

The International Conference on Crystal Growth (ICCGE) series is an important international academic event initiated by the International Organization for Crystal Growth. Since its first meeting in Boston, USA in 1966, it has been held every three years, rotating between Asia, America, and Europe. This conference was successfully bid for by Professor Jie Wanqi on behalf of China during the 19th conference in 2019. The next International Conference on Crystal Growth (ICCG-22) will be held in Grenoble, France in 2028.
