Shenyang Kejing Participates in the 19th Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry

From April 18th to 21st, the 19th Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry was grandly held in Wuhan. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry, and co-organized by the School of Earth Sciences of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), the State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Over 1,500 experts and scholars from across the country gathered to discuss new research findings and collaborate on solving scientific challenges.

This year's conference focused on the theme of "The Formation and Evolution of a Habitable Earth," with nearly 900 oral presentations covering 34 topics. The content encompassed cutting-edge fields such as mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, and planetary science, fully demonstrating the multidisciplinary intersection and integration of earth sciences. The conference also carefully arranged pre- and post-conference lectures on cutting-edge topics such as the geochemistry of convergent plate margins and how to write high-quality scientific papers, aiming to improve the professional skills and academic expression abilities of researchers.

Shenyang Kejing presented a complete solution for geological thin section preparation and showcased numerous products at the conference, including the SYJ-40 rapid cutting machine, STX-202A small diamond wire cutting machine, and UNIPOL-1202 automatic precision grinding and polishing machine. These devices provide comprehensive solutions for cutting, grinding, and polishing small and large-sized materials.  The on-site cutting demonstrations and polished samples attracted a large crowd of attendees, creating a bustling atmosphere. This annual meeting provided a high-end platform for experts and scholars in the field of earth sciences to showcase new research findings and exchange academic ideas, and facilitated in-depth academic exchanges in cutting-edge fields such as mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, and planetary science. From new advancements in cosmochemistry and planetary science, to cutting-edge explorations of material cycles in the Earth's critical zone and global change, and important topics such as critical mineral mineralization, prospecting prediction, and exploration practices, participants shared numerous innovative research findings. These exchanges not only promoted academic exchange and cooperation in my country's earth sciences but also injected new vitality into the development of the discipline, playing a positive and driving role.
